I know it's been a while since I last updated, but I really hope to get through the finale and deleted scenes this week, and then finally finish up with requests.

A quick note, some of the sound clip files from this episode are corrupt, I will re-upload them this evening. Most of them work though, it was only 2 or 3 that were affected.

I'm almost caught up with regular episodes, then I'll be doing deleted scenes and requests... lots and lots of requests. As always, I thank those of you who have been waiting patiently for your request(s) to be completed (deleted scene requests take the longest usually). It is especially hard for me to get to them while trying to keep up with the episodes.

A few other things:
I have added the "Talking Head" tag per a number of suggestions. It will take a while, but I do plan to go through the existing quotes to add the tag as necessary.

I will also be working on season 2 and 3 deleted scene clips, and some from season 4 as I have the time. Many of you who have been waiting on requests are waiting because you requested a clip from a deleted scene for which I didn't have the audio readily available. Over the strike I rounded them up as much as possible so I can get to the remaining requests, plus whatever other clips I think should be posted. Thank you all who have been waiting patiently for your request(s)!

Finally, I am going to add this to the requests page, but I wanted to say it here too: please do not request audio that is not from an episode or deleted scene. This includes anything from the blooper reels, DVD commentary, etc. I am keeping the site strictly to audio that applies to the storylines, with very few exceptions (specifically, the Fake PSAs that aired on TV). As someone from the show staff has said (I think it was Greg Daniels, but I am not positive) the deleted scenes do "count" as events that actually happened in the lives of the characters. Thanks in advance :)

Hello Office fans! It has been quite a while. I have just completed all of the requests I was able to do, including a new MIXmatch! There are still a few deleted scenes that I haven't got yet, and I apologize to those who have been waiting patiently. Well, I suppose that was most of you anyway, as it has been since last year that I have done any requests. Unfortunately for you all, my "real world" obligations haven't let up much since the new year.

Because of this, in order for me to continue doing requests, I need you all to take a few extra moments and be sure that you have the correct episode selected when you submit a request, and also that you make sure it is not already in the database. Recently I have received several requests for clips that were already available. If there is some way I can improve the search so that you can find them easier, please let me know by replying to this post or sending me an email. I will be happy to do what I can to make your website experience better. I spent most of my day off today working on requests, so I would appreciate any efforts you all can make to minimize the amount of time I have to spend on them :) There are many websites that can help you submit a good request - the one I use when I am unsure is www.officequotes.net. As I've said before, if you make my life easier, you will probably get your request done faster. Win-win!

Finally, as I'm sure you are all aware, the strike is FINALLY over! Kevin's (Brian's) MySpace blog says we should be seeing new episodes in a few weeks - "early spring" as he said. I think I can speak for us all when I say "WOOOHOOOO!" and "Welcome Back!" to everyone who has been without work over the last few months.

Finally, I got them all into the database. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer for the strike to be over. I know I'm not the only one going through Office withdrawal! I support all of the amazing writers out there (especially those who write for The Office!) and hope that everyone can come to an agreement quickly so we can all enjoy new episodes of our favorite shows again.

Also, I have made a change to one of the site features that I think everyone will appreciate. For those of you who have javascript enabled (which, I presume, is the vast majority of you all) you can now rate quotes without having to wait for the page to reload! For the techy folks: I have made the ratings feature AJAX-enabled. This means that the ratings happen behind the scenes, and it doesn't take a page reload to process ratings. Basically, you can rate quotes much quicker. I've tested it in Safari, Firefox and IE7 with no problems. If you don't have javascript, or there is a problem processing the rating through the AJAX method, it falls back to the old page-reload method. So, your rating should get captured either way.
